busy 2010.

hi everyone!

my name is Richard Teka, the current Principal of KGSA.

it has been a long and busy year for the KGSA family!. we were to have had our form four(grade 12) students sit for the national exams for the first time at our school and I'm glad the government supervisors and invigilators were were happy with the whole process. unfortunately the results won't be out until early March 2011.

December to me seems to be best month of the with so many things happening so fast! first i and Abdul went for the international conference on schools that sustain themselves.. i learned different ways we can come up with activities and businesses that can help sustain a school and i hope to initiate changes come next year.

we were also able to meet people from more than 30 countries who are involved in running schools and educational institutions and are able to sustain the schools from 5% to 100%!

i also experienced the calmness and the high discipline the Tanzanian people have starting from small children to the older people.
